Clock - work actuation ; interrupters, mechanical.- In an electric time-switch, the clock mechanism and a fuse are together carried by a plate F, which is readily detachable from a base-plate K, to which the service and lamp terminals J .. J<3> are connected. The electric connexion between the two plates is formed by grips M, M' on the plate K passing through holes in the outer plate F. These grips are so formed that the fuse bridge can be placed across them and the lamp circuit completed, when the clockwork and normal fuse are removed by detaching the plate F. The clock-work mechanism is of the kind described in Specifications 14,825/11 and 165/14. It acts on a thrust-rod C<2> to oscillate a lever R carried on a sleeve S, Fig. 4. A rod S' on the sleeve is connected by a link T to the contactcarrying lever D, the parts being so arranged that, when the switch is closed, the rod S and the link T are in line and lock the spring contacts D<2>. The fuse grips may be replaced by plugs so that the fuse bridge can be pivoted on one of them and act as a switch.
