Equipments for carrying purposes.- A military equipment comprises a bar q, slung horizontally across the wearer's shoulders by means of straps o passed through rings m, which are carried by short straps attached to buckles k on the shoulder straps. The kit is slung across the bar. Shoulder pads g distribute the pressure of the straps, which are passed through loops h on the pads. The shoulder straps j of the tunic are passed through other loops i on the pads and help to secure them. Additional securing-straps n for the kit are secured to the short straps carried by the buckles k, ar.d another strap r connects the rear corners of the pads.
