Roofing, sheet-metal.-Metal roofing-sheets impressed with one or more rows of tile or slate patterns are stepped as shown at 3 below each row of patterns, and the steps are corrugated or grooved longitudinally. The lower edge of a sheet is shaped to fit partly or wholly over the step of the sheet below and may rest on a flattened portion 6. Indentations 7 are made in the sheets to facilitate nailing, and the tile pattern is such that rain-water' is spread over the roof.
