Man-hole frames and covers. - Consists in forming a man-hole frame B' with one or more openings J situated opposite an aperture J', extending across the cover C and closed so as not to communicate with the interior of the frame. The arrangement affords a means of lifting the cover with the aid of a pickaxe.
