Manures.-A dressing for soils is prepared by subjecting peat, while wet, to a heat-treatment at a temperature of at least 60‹ C. without evaporation, to render its water readily expresible. The treated peat may be caused to absorb ammonia. Specifications 10,834/03. 17,610/11, 17,427/12. 24,639/12, 25,146/12, 5873/13, 9392/13, 11,133/13, 18,030/14, [all in Class 50, Fuel, Manufacturing of], and 18,558/14 are referred to.
