Connexions.-A spring terminal j is united to an electrode lug f of an accumulator, so as to make a tight joint at the cell lid, by a part c, flanged to bear on the lid and sleeved to pass therethrough and screw upon the lug within a box d, attached to the underside of the lid and holding vaseline &c. A flange g on the lug bears against this box, directly or through a washer. The boxes d for both terminals may be integral and formed by recesses in a bar. The terminal is suitable for use in a battery lamp and allows the use of large electrodes.
