Abstract

4689. Mannon, W. H. Feb. 23. Bottles, non-refillable.-A preferably square stopper is divided into two parts, Figs. 2 and 3, provided with a vertical face 6 and a slanting face 7. Tortuous channels, as shown, are cut in the meeting faces and provided with check ball-valves 12, 13. Stops 14 limit the movements of the balls. The two parts of the stopper are pinned and cemented together, and the whole is cemented in the neck of a square or other bottle.
