Rotary sieves. - In centrifugal machines for dressing flour of the type having beaters mounted on a number of rotary shafts disposed in troughs arranged round the axis of the central shaft d, one side f of each trough is shorter than the other, whereby the flour is scooped up from the bottom of the screen g as the drum rotates. The beaters f are formed with screw curves so as to convey the material along the screen towards the discharge end of the troughs. The troughs are mounted on a frame e, and the pinions i on the beater shafts gear with a fixed pinion h. The wheel h may be replaced by an internally-toothed rim. Means for adjusting the beaters are also provided.
