Abstract
14,496. Kuhn, E. June 20. Impregnating - compositions. - Wood is preserved by immersing it in hot calcareous waste liquor from distilling-apparatus used for the production of ammonia from gas-liquor by means of lime. The wood may afterwards be treated with a mixture of carbolic acid and zinc chloride &c.
