19,128. Wall, E. A. Aug. 25. Wave energy, utilizing.-An apparatus for compressing air by the action of. waves comprises a number of horizontally-arranged funnels C carried by a float B which is guided by piles A, the throats C<1> of the funnels being just above the average water-level. Air is entrapped by the waves and forced through the check-valves c and pipes D to reservoirs &c.
