[Addition to 15,481/09.] Hand pumps. - The lubricator for internalcombustion engines described in the parent Specification is modified by connecting the delivery pipe and the regulating-valve j to the upper end of the cylinder a, which is immersed in an oil reservoir. This arrangement enables a sight-feed to be used. The delivery stroke of the piston b is effected by a spring c, and the return stroke by depressing the piston-rod d by hand. The oil enters the lower end of the cylinder and passes around the cupleather e when the piston is depressed. A delivery valve o is provided. A spring catch n locks the head k of the valve in different positions.
