Automatic-feed weighers.- An endless-band conveyer fitted with an integrating weighing-apparatus has that portion of the conveyer belt which carries the load and is weighed with it, balanced by an unloaded portion instead of by a fixed weight, so that inaccuracies due to wear, wetness of belt, &c. are obviated. The loaded portion 5 of the conveyer belt is supported on troughing-rollers 6 mounted on a platform 9 suspended at the same distance on one side of the pivots of the weighing-beams 11 as the distance from the pivots to the points of support of the platform 10 which carries the empty portion 7 of the conveyer belt. The weighing-beams are connected to a common lever 15 linked to a second lever 21 which adjusts the position of a roller on the face of a disk 17 driven from the conveyer, so that the two factors of speed and weight will be integrated and the total weight registered on the counter 22.
