8112. Jaeger, C. H. July 28, 1910, [Convention date]. Loop-tube apparatus.-In cooling-devices for rotary air-compressors &c. in which water flows through a series of pipes, the pipes are arranged in groups, the pipes in each group being in parallel and the groups in series. The groups comprising the longer pipes also contain more pipes, so that the resistances of the different groups are approximately equal. In the arrangement shown, the water passes first through the single short pipe g, then through two longer pipes in parallel, and then through three still longer pipes also in parallel.
