Abstract

22,409. Bourke, A. M. Sept. 27. Cleaning internally, non-rotary appliances for.-The pipes of a permanently installed vacuum cleaning system are cleared by a brush or plug which is drawn through the pipes by suction. As shown in Fig. 2, the plug consists of a brush 12 clamped between a plate 13 and the plug handle 14 which advances first. A felt ring 15 is in contact with the interior of the tube.
