Projectiles. - Relates to combined shrapnel and common shell, and consists in arranging the bursting charge partly in a front chamber F, partly in .an axial chamber G, K, and partly in a central space M amid the shrapnel filling N. The axial chamber preferably consists of two portions, the front one G being attached to the front chamber F and the rear one K not so attached, so that, in the case when the shrapnel is fired first, the portion G proceeds forward together with the front chamber F and acts as a guiding-tail thereto.
