Abstract

7901. Durochat, L., Millou, P., and Bert, J. Vollet-. April 2. Leno and crosswoven fabrics of the type wherein the warps a r e moved from side to side either regularly or to a greater or less extent, the warps being fixed in their deviated positions by the weft threads, are woven with their meshes close together, the warp threads a, b, Fig. 7, having their portions between successive crossings disposed parallel to the weft threads c, thus producing a more elastic fabric. A figured elastic fabric produced by moving the warp threads irregularly is shown stretched or temporarily extended in Fig. 8, two of the warp threads being heavily marked to indicate the manner in which the two sets of warp threads are moved from side to side.
