Abstract
5726. C a r r, R. H. March 10. Bed-lifts.-Apparatus for use in raising invalids, of the type comprising a base-plate, an upright, and a projecting arm, is provided with m e a n s suspended from the arm whereby the invalid may raise himself. The base-plate A, with rollers or feet A<1>, carries the upright B which has a sliding socket B' so that the height of the upright may be adjusted. On the projecting arm is mounted a sliding block C, from which is suspended a bar E by means of straps D. The block is limited in its movements by stops F. Specifications 13,343/99 and 2455/06 are referred to.
