Abstract

1085. Dental Manufacturing Co., and Trewby, F. Jan. 15. Inhalers.-The nose-piece 1 of an anaesthetic inhaler provided with separate mouth and nose masks is provided with gas and air inlets 4, 5 controlled by a sliding valve 6 at the back of the nose-piece. The nose-piece is connected to the mouth-piece by means of a flexible tube 9 and a valved connexion 8 attached to the sliding valve 6. The masks are provided with flexible disk exhaling-valves 16, 17. The mouth-piece may be removed from the patients face when anaesthesia is established, in which case the connexion 8 is turned so as to cut off access from the nose mask to the tube 9.
