Tobacco-pipe cleaners.-In tobacco-pipe cleaners of the type in which a plug is fitted to the tobacco-pipe bowl to enable a fluid to be forced through the pipe, the plug, which is short and solid and has a straight central bore, is curved or tapered towards each end, so as to enable it to be fitted into the bowl and the nozzle of the tap more readily. The plug A may be made of wood, cork, rubber, metal, &c., but preferably of wood or other hard material with an outer covering E of rubber or like flexible material. The plug may be made with a straight metal tube G as shown in Fig. 5, or with a hard flanged core and an outer cover consisting of a pair of flexible rings F as sbown in Fig. 4.
