Abstract

Staging, suspended.-For supporting heavy swinging platforms, outriggers formed of adjustable superposed bars 40, 45 clamped together by cam-actuated clamps 65, Fig. 9, are used, and two supporting cables 46, 47, leading to winches on the platform are provided at each outrigger. A covering roof 57 and a guard rail 78 are also provided for the platform. To enable material to be easily hoisted to the platform, a hoist 85 raised by a cable 83 and guided by uprights 36, is provided.
