Abstract

23,436. Jordan, A., and Woodcock, C. H. Nov. 15. Show cases. -A goods case is fitted with adjustable shelves supported by projecting bolts or catches secured to the ends of the shelves and fitting into holes in vertical metal racks or made or cast in the end uprights. Upon the end of each shelf is screwed a catch with two parts a, b, Figs. 1 and 2, hinged together. Thetongues of the portion a are adapted to pass through slots in the portion b into the holes of the rack. In a modification, the springs d, Fig. 3, hold the tongues of the catch, which is guided in the clips c, within the holes of the metal rack shown in Fig. 4. The springs d may be dispensed with.
