Abstract
9422. PrÚaubert, L., and ThubÚ, G. A. May 5, 1904, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Paving-materials.-A composition consisting chiefly of bituminous materials and casein is used for laying dust on roads, or, when mixed with the usual materials, for making roads. Wood blocks for paving may be immersed in the mixture before laying. The casein is dissolved in water with the aid of alkali or other substance, and the bituminous substance, softened by heat, is mixed with it, preferably in the proportion of 70 to 25. Fats, colours, and decolorants such as lime or cement may be added, and the.product is diluted as desired.
