Conveyers.-A portable conveyer for sacks of grain and the like comprises a frame mounted centrally on wheels, and fitted at each end with a drum e, over which the endless conveying-belt runs. The two runs of the belt are supported on rollers b, c, mounted respectively on the upper side and in the centre of the frame, the upper set being of hollowed profile. One of the drums e is driven through worm gearing p, a shaft h, and bevel gearing l from an electric motor mounted in the centre of the frame immediately over the carrying-wheels z. The other end drum is adjustable to tighten the belt.
