Ozone. - Relates to apparatus of the class described in Specification No. 2629, A.D. 1899, for treating air or other gases electrically to produce allotropic forms, such as ozone, or other changes therein. The electrodes a, b are separated by dielectrics c and by spacing-pieces d to form channels e for the gases. The electrodes are preferably formed of a material such as micanite, consisting of mica and shellac. The electrodes are preferably made hollow, and are connected by pipes with insulated supply and discharge vessels a<2>, a<4>, b<2>, b<4>, to allow of the circulation of a cooling-medium. The apparatus may be built in the cylindrical form.
