Abstract

185,694. Rowell, B. R. Dec. 30, 1921. Joist floors. -For joining floor joists, underframing or other weight-supporting members, whereby the full strength of the members is secured, metal clips are used bent from sheetmetal, in the form of two angled-members at right-angles, Fig. 2, the top flange 2 of one anglemember being adapted to rest on the main support while the flange 3 of the other angle-member supports the end of the joist 4 disposed at rightangles, Fig. 1. Two such members may be used, one on each side of the joist, or the two members may be integral forming a socket 6 for the joist
