Inking-apparatus.-The pressure of the ductor blade upon the fountain roll of an inking-a.pparatus is adjusted at various positions along its length by devices operated from a distant point through Bowden or other wire connections. As shown, the inner member a of a Bowden wire is connected at one end to a member b operated in either direction by a screw d, and at the other end to a pivoted member f bearing upon the inclined end of a plunger g engaging the ductor blade i. When the screw d is turned to release the pull on the wire a, the parts are returned to normal position by the spring of the blade i or a separate spring may be provided for this purpose.
