Vaporizing-apparatus.-In oil or spirit vapour stoves or lamps, the vaporizer preheater consists of a high conical cup 1 which is secured to the reservoir 3 around the fuel-supply tube 2 and is provided with two or more rows of air holes 5, 6 and an upwardly inclined internal flange 4 at its upper edge. The grid supports 8 may pass through the flange 4 and under arch parts 9 in the cup wall as described in Specification 148,721. The high cup wall protects the valve spindle from the preheating-flame when a regulating-valve such as described in Specification 134,430 is used. In a modification, the cup is fitted with a separate internal flange and is formed with an external flange and arch parts to carry the grid supports.
