1535689 Cutting and grooving apparatus MARUMIYA SHOKO CO Ltd 17 May 1977 20754/77 Heading B4B A cutting and grooving tool 1 for cutting and grooving the edge of a stack of paper sheets comprises two faces 5, 6 converging to meet at and define a cutting edge 7, the surface 6 being formed with generally parallel grooves 3 and ridges 4 terminating at the cutting edge which is thus serrated. The tool is adapted to be mounted in a guillotine such that the tool is moved downwardly in a cutting stroke at the same angle as the groove formed in the tool, e.g. 45 degrees.
