Abstract

1534177 Packages BELL PRODUCTS Ltd 20 Jan 1977 [3 Feb 1976] 04249/76 Heading B8P [Also in Division B5] A package comprises a rectangular sheet of flexible polyester film formed into a tube 1, overlapping edges of the sheet being joined by staples 3 and the ends of the tube being closed by press-fitted plastics plugs 4. The tube 1 is preferably formed around a hollow cylindrical former (10) which co-operates with a slidably mounted hand stapler (19), Fig. 3 (not shown). The plugs 4 may be stapled to the tube 1. The stapler may, alternatively (not shown), be foot or electrically operated.
