Abstract

1522640 Sewing machine FRAME CLOTHING Ltd 7 Dec 1976 [10 Dec 1975] 50584/75 Heading D1G A machine for sewing together two or more strips 1, 2 of fabric, one on top of and parallel to the other has feed means (incorporated in the sewing machine 7 as disclosed) and a number of guide means 9, 11 for the strips and a number of sensing devices 5, 6 corresponding to the number of strips, arranged to sense the passage of each strip and on sensing the end thereof to generate a signal stopping the sewing means. A third sensor 12 is provided to monitor the sewing thread 13. The guide 11 is a folding guide.
