Abstract
The material has at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, which contains a diffusion-resistant, preferably hydrophobic, 2-equivalent yellow coupler and up to 40 mol%, relative to the yellow coupler, of a diffusion-resistant, preferably hydrophobic 5-pyrazolone white coupler which is alkyl- or aryl-substituted, for example on the methylene group. The combination of the two couplers gives a material which shows a reduced background fog in the blue-sensitive layer and substantially improves the stability on storage in warm air.
