Abstract

1510574 Fencing clamps C MALKMUSDORNEMANN 26 May 1976 [30 May 1975] 21857/76 Headings EIB and E2B A clamp 6, for attaching fencing to posts 1 having flanges 2 formed thereon, comprises a flat fronted middle section 7 having lateral arms 8, 9 extending from it. The arms 8, 9 embody slits 10, 11 in each of which is located a screw hook 12. Horizontal fence wires 3 lie in a channel 16 formed along the front of the arms and the central section and are held by the hooks after tightening nuts 14. The clamp is held in place by grub-screw 17 and embraces the flange 2 with its C-shaped recess 15. In an alternative arrangement (Fig. 4) the arms 8a, 9a lie in the same plane as the flat central portion 7a and the hooks 12a are fed horizontally through the slits 10a, 11a.
