Abstract

150,249. Lindsay, J., and Benson, R. April 13, 1920. Reversing-gearing comprises a pulley 1 loose on a shaft 4 to be driven and adapted to be connected thereto for direct driving by set screws 7 or the like. A toothed pinion 8 is secured to the shaft 4 in the same plane as an internal ring 12 upon the pulley. For reversed driving, a toothed gear 9 is slid upon a fixed spindle 10 into mesh with the gears 8, 12. A slotted collar 14 may be used to hold the gear 9 in position.
