Abstract

149,346. Philipps Akt.-Ges. July 21, 1919, [Convention date]. Magneto-electric machines.-A small magnetoelectric machine having a stationary armature and a revoluble field magnet, and adapted for use in hand lamps and cycle lamps, is constructed with the field magnet d mounted on a disk h which carries a centring-disk k provided with a sleeve extension l which ensures the correct relative positioning of the armature and field magnet. The magnet d may be secured to the disk h by a turned-up edge, as shown. The stationary double- T shaped armature c is fitted on a bearing-bush f formed with a sleeve-like extension g fitting over the extension l. The field magnet is formed with inwardly-turned poles and is provided with a balancing mass of non-magnetic material between the bends of the poles. The shaft i is carried beyond the casing b and is fitted with a sleeve carrying the driving-roller n.
