Moulds.-The vertical walls a, b of a chillmould have a projection c<1>, d<1> determining the thickness of the cavity e, on both sides so that they can be reversed. The walls rest on a flat base-plate, which may have a rib to enter the bottom of the cavity e, and are clamped by stirrups and bolts.
