Abstract

1487191 Dip moulding LR INDUSTRIES Ltd 17 Dec 1974 [3 April 1974] 14860/74 Heading B5A A thin walled hollow article of elastomeric material, e.g. a glove 11, is removed from a former 12 by hooks 16 inserted in the open end of the glove, such insertion being facilitated by inflating the open end portion by fluid pressure nozzles 13. The pressure fluid, e.g. air or liquid, within the glove is confined by pads 14a, 14b. In Fig. 6 the nozzles are incorporated in the hook structure by providing fluid passageways 17, 18 in the hook. Each hook may additionally include a chamber which is inflated when positioned between the glove and former.
