Abstract

1476674 Surgical drape WORK WEAR CORP 17 Oct 1974 44937/74 Heading A5R A surgical drape or laporotomy sheet for use in conjunction with a surgical table provided with armboards comprises a main body panel 12 adapted to overlie the patient from head to toe, and wing sections 22 extending perpendicularly from the main body panel 12 for overlying the arms of the patient and the armboards of the table, said main body panel 12 and wing sections 22 including peripheral edge portions 18 and 28 for hanging downwardly over the peripheral edges of the table and armboards, said edge portions 18 and 28 being interconnected by added material forming a gusset 30 to enable the drape to hang substantially vertically at the junctions of the armboards with the table. A fenestration 20 may be provided in the drape.
