Abstract

1470488 Articulated jib cranes; self-loading vehicles HIAB-FOCO AB 21 May 1975 21770/75 Headings B8B and B8E A crane, shown in the folded portion mounted on a vehicle, comprises a post 4 on which is articulated an inner arm section 5 for luffing by an hydraulic piston-and-cylinder unit 7, 8, a telescopic outer arm section 9 articulated to the inner arm section 5 for luffing by an hydraulic piston-and-cylinder unit (11), (12), Fig. 1 (not shown), and a telescopic rocker arm 23 articulated at 22 to a bracket attached to the outer arm section 9. The rocker arm 23 is luffed by an hydraulic unit 28 acting between the rocker arm 23 and the articulated joint 29 between two links 30, 31 interconnecting the outer arm section 9 and the rocker arm 23.
