SCHIERHOLZ KG 23 Dec 1974 [31 Dec 1973] 55369/74 Heading B7L A conveyer comprises trolleys 2 for carrying mail bags along a track 1 which has passages 7 for free running of the trolleys and ascending passages 8 with succeeding sections 8a, 8b of increasing slope for upward movement of the trolleys by pusher members 10 of a drive chain 9, the chain 9 being guided from section 8a to steeper section 8b by a wheel 16 which at its circumferential edge has recesses 17 to receive portions of the trolleys 2 projecting beyond the chain 9 and to thus allow movement of trolleys so received from section 8a to 8b. A respective further recess 18 is provided in advance of each recess 17 so that a trolley which is propelled by a pusher member 10 may push an abutting foregoing trolley which has its projecting portions accommodated in recess 18.
