Abstract

1453297 Liquefied gas storage container SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 27 Nov 1973 [20 Nov 1973] 53723/73 Heading F4P A liquefied gas storage container has a lining 2 of polyurethane foam on the inner surface 3 of its rigid outer shell 1. The lining is provided with a barrier 5 consisting of glass-fibre material 6,7 and a cured epoxy resin 8, the barrier being arranged within the lining of foam. In the embodiment shown the inner surface 4 of the lining is in contact with the cold contents of the container and the total thickness of the barrier is in the range 0À5 to 1 mm.
