Abstract

1441655 Liquid developing apparatus XEROX CORP 25 June 1973 30010/73 Heading G2H Liquid is pumped from a reservoir 10 by a pump 12 through a pipe 11 to a tray 8 from which it overflows to return to reservoir 10 through a pipe 15 for recirculation. As shown, a roller 9 picks up the liquid from tray 8 and supplies it to a patterned roller 7 which is doctored by a blade 20 and applies the liquid to a drum 1 to develop an electrostatic latent image thereon. The apparatus is preferably enclosed in a housing 17, so that when incorporated in a desk top copier, movement of the copier does not spill the liquid.
