143,514. Arkin, L. Oct. 9, 1916, [Convention date]. Press-button fasteners.-The stud of a snapfasteners for gloves, dresses, &c. is retained in the socket part of the fastener by springs which can be released by hand to enable the stud to be ejected by spring-action. When the stud S is inserted in the casing A it snaps into engagement with holes or depressions in springs b, b<1> and at the same time bends the ejecting-spring C. Releasing-arms d, d<1> are attached to the springs b, b<1> and project through slots in the casing A.
