1434023 Insulated hand holds IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 28 June 1973 [29 June 1972] 30497/72 Heading A4A [Also in Divisions B5 and F4] A flexible holder for fitting around a vessel to provide a laminar thermally insulating hand hold is formed as a continuous band and has a textured pile surface on at least parts of its outer surface. The holder may be formed from a sheet of thermoplastics material which is passed over a heated roll to draw fibres out of its surface. The holder may be laminated by simultaneously heat welding paper or card to the plane surface of the sheet.
