Abstract

143,175. Bosch Akt.-Ges., R. May 10, 1919, [Convention date]. Capillary-action lubricating.-To lubricate the bearing of the distributor shaft c of the ignition apparatus of an internal-combustion engine, an absorbent ring d of felt &c. is slipped into a bush b, which forms the bearing, inserted in the side plate a. The bush b is provided with an opening c enabling a broadened portion of the ring d to penetrate to the shaft c. Oil is supplied by a duct g.
