1421458 Prefabricated room units; metal box girders Z AHSEN-BORE 12 Feb 1973 [3 July 1972] 6868/73 Headings E1A and E1K A prefabricated room unit is constructed from a frame module, Fig. 1, made up of boxgirders each having at least two projecting flanges 711, 712, Fig. 3; at least some of the box-girders each being formed from at least three different profile elements of bent iron or steel plate joined together and having a thickness of from 1 to 3 mms. The girders may be provided with V-channels such as 724, 713 for joining and strengthening purposes; the girders being spot welded or riveted together. For modified profiles of box-girders used in the frame module and joints the Specn. and remaining drawings, (not shown), should be referred to.
