Abstract

1416167 Mounting vehicle lamp reflectors LUCAS ELECTRICAL CO Ltd 5 March 1973 [18 March 1972] 12797/72 Heading F4R A reflector mounting arrangement for a vehicle lamp comprises a pair of ribs 6 moulded integrally with the plastics reflector 4, the ribs forming channels 10 for receiving opposed edges of a mounting plate 12, the plate being secured to the reflector by adhesive. The plate may be of metal with a stepped portion 13 and semicircular ridges 14. The part 11 of the reflector between the channels may be roughened to provide a key for adhesive introduced through an aperture 15 in the plate. Two similar mounting plates may be similarly secured to the opposite side of the reflector.
