Abstract

1396694 Storage racks PARKLEA Ltd 12 May 1972 [28 April 1971 19 Oct 1971] 11796/71 Heading A4H [Also in Division F2] A barrel storage rack comprises a rectangular framework formed by a plurality of horizontal ties 7 with at least one pair of horizontally extending runners 8 supported by the ties and extending perpendicular thereto the runners 8 being secured to the ties by means of upstanding, generally L-shaped brackets, each of which has one leg bolted to a runner 8 or joining two end on runners and the other leg 3 bolted to an upper face of a horizontal tie. The other leg has flanges 6 engaging opposed side faces of the horizontal tie so as to prevent angular rotation of the bracket relative to the tie. Fig. 11 shows a framework having a differently designed bracket 11 having flanges 16. In an embodiment, Fig.12 (not shown), a bracket is provided which joins longitudinally aligned runners to a single tie.
