Abstract

1390623 Lighting fittings NICOL & ANDREW Ltd 27 Dec 1972 [28 Dec 1971] 60232/71 Heading F4R A lighting fitting comprises a box-like housing open at one face and containing a reflector having inner reflective surfaces 8, outer reflective surfaces 9 and side reflective surfaces 10 which interconnect adjacent inner and outer surfaces, the reflective surfaces defining a plurality of spaced recesses 11 each of which contains mounting means for a light source. The reflector is made of flexible aluminium and can be sprung into position within the housing where it rests on a peripheral flange 6 and closes the open face. The light sources are preferably fluorescent tubes, the ends of which are concealed by corrugated aluminium closure plates 14, but may alternatively be incandescent filament lamps, in which case only a single closure plate may be required.
