1385548 Table tops MODERN TUBULAR PRODUCTIONS Ltd 21 May 1973 [22 May 1972] 23966/72 Heading A4H A tray for a handicapped, e.g. sightless, child comprises a central flat area 1 merging with concavely curved parts 3, 6 extending upwardly to raised perimeter walls 2, 5, 4, one end wall 5 being lower than the opposite end wall 2. Side walls 4 slope up from end wall 5 to end wall 2. The degree of slope at the sides increases progressively towards end wall 2. The entire tray, or the curved parts and perimeter walls only, may comprise a one-piece moulding of plastics or fibre-glass. The tray may be free-standing or provided with detachable or folding legs, or it may be attached to the child or a chair. The tray may have a front cutaway 7 enabling a child to be nearer the flat area.
