Abstract

1372875 Staircases A JOHNSSON 23 Dec 1971 60138/71 Heading E1B [Also in Division B6] A staircase body formed by nailing together wood particle boards 1 to form treads, risers and stringers has all the outer surfaces covered with a layer of thermosetting, preferably polyester, resin reinforced with glass fibre mats, a thin layer 3 of resin being applied first followed by the mats 4 and then by further resin 5. Decorative, store simulating and slip resistant coatings are subsequently applied to selected areas.
